A gassho style house donated by the painter, Jin Homura. It is open to the public, and displays a number of the artist’s works.
Description
Jin Homura lived in this gassho style house in the Kidani district of Shirakawa village, utilizing the spacious interior as a studio to produce a variety of distinctive paintings. Now a museum, the building exhibits about 50 of the artist’s primordially powerful works.
